Front Fences

Choosing What Suits

Choosing the Right Front Fence for Your Home

Your front fence is more than just a boundary,

it’s the first impression of your property.

The right design can boost curb appeal, improve security, and even increase property value. When selecting a fence, consider the overall style of your home, your privacy needs, and your budget.

From classic picket fences and sleek metal panels to natural timber and low-maintenance composite options, there’s a style to suit every home.

Modern trends lean toward minimalist designs, mixed materials, and sustainability using recycled or locally sourced materials where possible.

Maintenance is another key factor: timber requires regular treatment, while steel and aluminum offer durability with little upkeep. Local council regulations or heritage overlays may also influence your choice, so always check before installation.

Ultimately, a well-chosen front fence should balance function, aesthetics, and compliance completing the look of your home while serving your lifestyle needs.

HERES A MIX OF FRONT FENCING BUILDS FOR YOUR HOME

    the dangers of front fencing

    know whats in the ground

99.9% of Fencers have in their T & Cs that they won't be liable for hitting your utilities & we are one of them, that's why all our front fences are scanned for utilities so we are safe & can get your posts in max depth & you don't get a big repair bill .

When it comes to fencing, one of the biggest  mistakes people make is forgetting what’s underground.

Before a single post goes in the ground there could be a maze of services running through your fence line, power, gas, water, NBN & drainage.

Hitting any of these isn’t just inconvenient… it can be dangerous, costly & delay your job significantly.

    ⚠️ Why underground utilities matter

Driving posts, especially for steel or deep set fencing, means digging straight into areas you can’t see. Striking something like:

    • Electrical lines → serious injury or worse
    • Gas lines → major safety risk
    • Water pipes → flooding, damage, and extra repair costs
    • Telecommunications (NBN) → loss of internet + repair fees

Even a small job can turn into a big problem very quickly.

In Australia we use Dial Before You Dig, but keep in mind plans are rarely accurate. That’s why physical locating is the safest option.

Looking at competitors quotes they are charging upwards of $600.00 for this service when it only costs us $220-$350, why the price hike? that's not fair!

We use Utility Locating Victoria for all our location needs

Even if you don't choose us but don't want to pay the ridiculous costs
